PURPOSE:To enable loading/unloading of containers offshore by using a conveyor, a boom, a boom mast, etc. fitted onboard a floating framework and thereby performing loading/unloading works for containers on the floating framework. CONSTITUTION:A floating framework 4 is put alongside the boardside of a container ship 2 moored offshore, and a spud is driven in the ground to fix the framework 4. A container lifting means 29 of an unloading boom 25 is operated to hook up a container from the container ship 2 and to transfer to the carryout end 25b on the side of a guide frame, and at arrival the container 1 is sunk to be transferred onto a conveyor 53. This conveyor 53 sends transferred containers 1 one after another from the container ship 2 side to the burge 3 side. A container lifting means 50 of a loading boom 48 is operated, on the other hand, to hook up a container from the same conveyor 53 to transfer over to the burge side, wherein containers 1 are loaded on each burge 3 one after another in the same manner as with a land container crane.
