PURPOSE:To independently regulate the quantity and temperature of each of blow-out airs by making air which is sucked into a body case by means of a fan, flow out through upper and lower draft passages and upper and lower blow-out ports via air quantity regulating dampers respectively, after cooling said air by means of an evaporator. CONSTITUTION:Air inside a vehicle room or the open air is sucked into a body case 1 by means of a fan 2 and cooled when it passes through an evaporator 4. Then, the air is divided up and down by means of a partitioning board 6 and, when passing through an upper draft passage 8 and a lower draft passage 9, the proportion of air which passes through a heater 7 and air which bypasses the heater 7, is changed by means of air mix dampers 10, 11. The air that passes through the heater 7 is reheated by the heater 7 and, then, mixed with the air that bypasses the heater 7. Normally, since a connecting passage 16 is closed by an upper/lower passage connecting damper 17, the conditioned airs are blown out into the vehicle room through an upper blow-out port 12 and a lower blow-out port 14 having air quantity regulating dampers 13, 15 respectively. |
