PURPOSE:To eliminate the leakage of fluid, by providing between a valve member and a driving member formed of piezoelectric ceramics in a casing a magnifying mechanism for magnifying an expansion amount of the driving member upon expansion thereof and transmitting the magnified expansive force to the valve member to let the valve member abut against a valve seat. CONSTITUTION:A casing 1 includes a valve seat 7 in a fluid passage 6, a valve member 3 adapted to abut against and separate from the valve seat 7, and a driving member 4 formed of piezoelectric ceramics. There is provided between the valve member 3 and the driving member 4 a magnifying mechanism 5 for magnifying an expansion amount of the driving member 4 upon expansion thereof and transmitting the magnified expansive force to the valve member 3 to let the valve member 3 abut against the valve seat 7. Thus, the seat member is reliably tightly contacted with the valve seat upon closing of the valve, thereby eliminating the leakage of fluid even under high pressure.
