PURPOSE:To permit quick automatic adaptation with simple conversion by calculating and outputting the three elements of reflected light when an object is irradiated with a standard light source from the three elements of the color of the object, conversion and correction factors of Huseyin Yilmaz. CONSTITUTION:The light of the light source 1 is monitored by a photoelectric transducer 31 via a white filter 33, and the conversion and correction factors of Huseyin Yilmaz corresponding to the condition of the light source are calcu lated by a factor calculating means 4 and are outputted to a color adaptive means 8. The reflected light from the objected irradiated with the light source 1 is simultaneously measured and converted by an object light measuring means 5, and the output thereof is inputted to the means 8. The reflected light is automatically adapted to the three elements (A0, B0, C0) of the reflected light when the object is irradiated with the standard light source by the conversion factor and correction factor and is outputted.
