NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R1-R4 are H, alkyl, alkenyl or aralkyl). EXAMPLE:A compound shown by formula II. USE:A carbon-free pressure-sensitive recording material, heat-sensitive recording material and other image recording materials. PREPARATION:For example, 1mol N-ethylcarbazole-3-carboxyaldehyde is condensed with 2mol N-ethylcarbazole in glacial acetic acid in the presence of HC1 under heating to give 3,3',3''-tris(N-ethylcarbazolyl)methane. It is dissolved in DMF, a solution of 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-1,4-benzoquinone in DMF is dropwise added to the solution and heated. Then, a solution of sodium methoxide in methanol is dropwise added to the resultant solution at 40 deg.C and methanol is added to crystallize an example compound. |
