<p>NEW MATERIAL:A monoclonal antibody produced by using a cell strain originating from signet ring gastric cancer (KATO-III) as an antigen, having an Ig class (subclass) of IgG1 and possessing reactivity against a membrane superficial antigene of cells of pulmonary carcinoma (PC-1), pulmonary carcinoma (PC-3), pulmonary carcinoma (PC-9), pulmonary carcinoma (PC-10), gastric cancer (KATO-III), vesical cancer (NBT-2) and pharyngeal cancer (HEp-2). USE:A raw material for a diagnosticum and remedy against cancer. PREPARATION:For example, established gastric cancer cells (KATO-III) are crushed and centrifuged to produce a cell extract liquid, which is injected into a mouse to immunize and the splenic cells of the mouse are taken out. Then this cells are mixed with mouse myelematous cells and fused by using polyethylene glycol, etc., and cloned with such as a limiting dilution method to obtain a monocloned hydridoma. This hybridoma is further cultivated to obtain a monoclonal antibody.</p> |
