The invention relates to a wall-mounted ventilation system, in particular heating system, with a covering panel arranged at a distance from the supporting wall and a partition which divides the space between the wall and the covering panel into essentially vertical flow regions for air and which is connected both to the supporting wall and to the covering panel, and with fastening elements, which pass through the covering panel and the intermediate panel, for mounting the ventilation system on the supporting wall. The aim of the invention is to provide a wall-mounted ventilation system which, with easy and economical manufacturing, can in a simple manner be fastened on a supporting wall properly and safely by means of plugs or the like. This aim is achieved by the partition consisting of a plane panel which is provided on both sides with distance elements made of foamed plastic which are mounted in an essentially linear manner and are aligned in relation to the partition, and by the fastening elements being arranged so as to pass through the distance elements.
