PURPOSE:To easily instal a sound absorbing material in a joint by providing a swelled part which forms an annular groove on an inner peripheral wall, on a rubber joint and providing a sound absorbing member made of a self-form retaining porous material in said annular groove. CONSTITUTION:A ring-form swelled part 10 is provided in the center part of a joint 1, swelling out in the outside diameter direction, to form an annular groove 11 which extends in the peripheral direction, on an inner peripheral wall. The annular groove 11 is formed in a rectangular section, and ring-form ribs 12 which project out in the axial direction are projectingly provided in an integrated form with edge parts of an opening on the inner peripheral wall. An annular sound absorbing member 13 is filled in the annular grove 11, with its inner peripheral wall being formed as a part of the peripheral wall of an intake air passage. The member 13 is made of a self-form retaining porous material having a number of voids.
