<p>PURPOSE:To widen the range of selection of recording paper to be used, to improve the quick drying properties after recording, and to eliminate clogging of a nozzle, by incorporating a specified alkyl glycidyl ether sulfonate into a water-base recording ink. CONSTITUTION:A compound of the formula (wherein R is 3-12C alkyl; M is an alkali metal, ammonia, alkoxyl or amine) is incorporated into a water-base recording ink which contains a water-soluble dye, a water-soluble organic solvent and water as essential components. The amount of the compound to be incorporated is preferably 0.1-5wt%.</p> |
