<p>The device (1) essentially comprises a bed (3) of the "air cushion" type for supporting a sheet (2); a bridge (6) translatable orthogonally of its longitudinal axis above the said bed (3); two arms (17) supported by the bridge (6) and movable between a disengagement position, in which they are raised with respect to the sheet (2), and an engagement position, in which they are able to cooperate with a lateral edge of the sheet (2); and actuator means (33) which control the displacement of the arms (17) between the said engagement and disengagement positions.</p> |
