PURPOSE:To completely wash and remove oils and fats on metal parts surface while recovering harmful solvent vapor, by passing metal parts adhered with oils and fats in a solvent vapor vessel and a solvent soln. vessel for oils and fats providing an automatic opening and closing door, prior to plating the parts. CONSTITUTION:Oils and fats adhered during machining must previously be removed at plating treatment of metal parts surface. Therefor, metal parts adhered with oils and fats is mounted on running machine, a foot switch 21 is operated to open the automatic opening and closing door 16, and vapor of organic chlorine system of freon solvent for oils and fats in the solvent vapor vessel 7 is generated. Running machine is entered into the vessel 7 from gap of the door 16, successively dipped in the solvent soln. vessel 8, passed in the vessel 7 again to completely wash and remove oils and fats on metal parts surface, taken out and the door 16 is automatically closed. Freon volatilized during opening the door 16 is introduced to a solvent recovering tower 15 through an exhausting duct 13 and recovered.
