PURPOSE:To simplify a parts control job and reduce the cost of production, by increasing weight of a revolving scroll subjected to capacity regulation in conformity with that of the revolving scroll that sets its capacity to the maximum lap height. CONSTITUTION:There are provided with a fixed scroll 3 and a revolving scroll 4, and balance weights 91, 11 and 12 keeping dynamic balance at the time of driving a driving shaft 5, driving this revolving scroll 4, and the revolving scroll 4. These balance weights 91, 11 and 12 should be set to weight corresponding to the revolving scroll 4 being such lap height that becomes maximum in capacity to be regulated. When the said lap height is altered from the maximum to the minimum side, it is increased in conformity with weight of the revolving scroll 4 subjected to capacity regulation. Thus, the balance weight is enough to form one type alone so that parts control is simplifiable and, what is more, manufacturing cost is reducible.
