PURPOSE:To facilitate the formation of an asphalt foam of excellent dimensional stability, by mixing a stirred mixture of an organic isocyanate compound with molten asphalt with a polyol compound, water, a catalyst and a silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:A mixture is obtained by mixing 40-800pts.wt. molten asphalt with 100pts.wt. organic isocyanate. This mixture is mixed with a polyol compound, water, a catalyst, a silicone oil and, optionally, a filler, etc., and the resulting mixture is foamed to obtain the purpose foam. In this process, asphalt may be added also to said polyol. The amount of the asphalt added in this case is 30-400pts.wt., per 100pts.wt. polyol compound. By using asphalt also in the polyol compound in this way, it is possible to increase the total amount of asphalt added.
