PURPOSE:To reduce the full-width size by arranging a conveying conveyor and a reversing conveyor traveling in parallel and in opposite directions to each other at a right angle with each lane between the terminal end of an unsorted conveying lane and the start end of a carry-out lane. CONSTITUTION:ICs lowered along conveying lanes 1a-1d are shifted to a hori zontal conveyor 5' on the upper stage and conveyed in the arrow C direction. Next, they are dropped on a horizontal conveyor 7 on the lower stage at the left end of the conveyor 5' as shown by an arrow (d) and conveyed in the arrow D direction. When they reach carry-out lanes 3a-3h corresponding to the inspec tion result in the middle, shutters 3a-1-3h-1 are opened, then they are distribut ed to respective carry-out lanes 3a-3h. According to this constitution, the full-width size of the device is prevented from being increased.
