METHOD FOR PROCESSING COLOR REVERSAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To substantially eliminate a rinsing process so as to permit an easy post treatment of a waste liquid and to safely process a titled material with decreased environmental pollution by making black and white development with a black and white developing soln. contg. at least two kinds of specific black and white developing agents, making direct color development without using an intermediate processing bath and processing the material directly with a processing liquid having bleach fixing power. CONSTITUTION:The color reversal photographic sensitive material is subjected to black and white development by the black and white developing soln. contg. at least one kind of the black and white developing agents selected from hydroquinones and at least one kind of the black and white developing agents selected from 1-phenyl-3- pyrazolidones and paraaminophenols. The material is then subjected to the direct color development with substantially no use of the intermediate processing bath and is then processed with the processing liquid having the bleach fixing power; thereafter the material is processed with the stabilizer substitutive for rinsing consisting of a chelate agent preferably having >=8 deg. of chelate stability to iron ions without rinsing. The pH of the developing agent is preferably 9.0-11.0 and the pH of the color developing agent (preferably arom. primary amine) is preferably >=11.
