PURPOSE:To enable correct and quick conveying operation corresponding to the register mark interval by using a motor from the starting of intermittent transfer for most of the operation, and using an air cylinder for conveying in the vicinity of the end of a feed. CONSTITUTION:A packing material band F is clamped by a clamping member 22 on a moving table 12 located at a start position (right limit), and the moving table 12 is moved to the downstream side (to the left) at a comparatively high speed by a motor 14, so that the band F is pulled and conveyed with the movement of the table. Subsequently, when the moving table 12 is moved to a limit sensor 32 position, the moving table 12 is stopped and an air cylinder 17 is expanded so that the band F is conveyed at a low speed. When a register mark on the band F is detected by a sensor 31 during conveying, the air cylinder 18 is expanded and a braking wedge 27 is thrust into a receiving member 30, so that a bar 24, that is, the clamping member 22 is instantaneously stopped at a position corresponding to a register mark position. |
