<p>PURPOSE:To reduce circuit operation by providing inter-frame inserting circuits to the back of two-dimensional filters and driving frame memories at a 1/2 speed. CONSTITUTION:A current image signal, an image signal obtained before one frame and an image signal obtained before two frames which have different sampling patterns respectively are switches by respective switches 40-43 every horizontal period and guided to two-dimensional filters 44-47, 48-51 having different characteristics respectively. Since the frame interpolating circuits 38, 39 are provided to the back of the frame memories 36, 37, the frame memories 34, 35 and the two-dimensional filters 36, 37 can be driven at a 1/2 speed by a driving signal.</p> |
