PURPOSE:To prevent foreign substances from touching or sticking to a resistance line wire, by making each through hole formed in a protective cover surrounding the resistance wire coil larger in diameter at the part approximated to a base plate while smaller in diameter at the part approximated to the resistance wire coil. CONSTITUTION:In a register 7 for an air conditioner, each top and bottom of a resistance wire coil 2 and a thermal fuse 3 are covered with each of metal plates 8 and 13. And both symmetrical sides and the front (faced to the base plate 6) of the coil 2 and fuse 3 are covered with each of metal plates 10-12 or the protective cover where each circular hole 9 serving as a through window. In this case, among circular holes 9 of these metal plates 19 and 11, such one as being approximated to the base plate 6 is formed to be larger in diameter, while such one as coming nearer to the coil 2 is formed to be smaller in diameter, respectively. Also some circular holes 9 faced to the base plate 6 are formed to be smaller in diameter. With this constitution, these circular holes 8 proximate to the coil 2 is formed into a small diameter each, so that foreign substances are preventable from touching or sticking to the coil 2. |
