PURPOSE:To obtain higher surface flux density and higher torque by employing a facial anisotropic structure when multipolar magnetization of the cylindrical part of a rotor magnet is performed. CONSTITUTION:A disc part 14 is formed at the center of a cylindrical part 12 with a facial anisotropic structure. A piercing hole 13, with which the cylinder part 12 is fitted to a shaft, is provided at the center of the disc part 14. Moreover, an annular protrusion 15, which is to be a control signal creating part, is formed on one side of the disc part 14. The annular protrusion 15 has a structure such that the priority orientation of an easy-to-magnetize axis is axial at its end part 15a and is gradually changed along the distance from the end part 15a and becomes tangential at its root part 15b. With this constitution, high density magnetization with high surface flux density can be realized.
