A pushbutton coupling for the releasable connection of dental components has a secondary coupling part releasably received with snap fit in a primary coupling part. The primary and/or secondary coupling parts are surrounded on the outside by injection-moulding with a ring having a smooth, circular-cylindrical outer surface area and consisting of a plastic which can be incinerated without residues. This plastic ring can be inserted with clamping or press fit in a smooth, circular-cylindrical recess of an - especially extracoronal - retaining part which also consists of a plastic which can be incinerated without residues. This arrangement can also be applied advantageously if the primary or secondary coupling part forms or has a threaded region which is surrounded by injection-moulding with the plastic ring.
