Torch suspension

The invention relates to a torch suspension with a height slide (14) which is adjustable in the vertical direction and is guided between guide bodies (22) and to which a drive (39) and a spindle (43) are assigned. In order to create a simple and inexpensive as well as lightweight drive (39) for a height slide of a torch suspension, with which the height slide (14) and the torch suspension can be of lightweight design in a small type of construction and a drive (39) of low drive power can be used, the spindle (43) is firmly arranged on the torch suspension (10) and is in engagement with a spindle nut vertically adjusting the height slide (14) (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
