PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled attachment having no difference in level and needless to correct at a low cost by drilling guide holes on a heat treated steel pipe with welded rib. CONSTITUTION:The steel pipe 12 of a prescribed diameter and length is heat treated to eliminate internal strains after welding specific inner ribs 2. On this steel pipe, after drilling the guide hole 3, racking shaped-partition 13 remaining a portion, stopper parts 9 and fitting holes 14 for springs are worked to cut the leavings of the partition 13. Then, a guide pin is inserted to fit a tension spring on the fitting hole 14 and to fit into the reel. This attachment for changing the reel diameter is free from the difference in level, needless to correct, and a low cost as well.
