Fabrics for protective garments

Fabric for industrial garments for protection against heat, flames and sparks consists of a carbon or graphite fabric assembled to a mixed fabric composed of a mixture of glass and asbestos fibres, whose properties are complementary to those of carbon. Pref. the 2 fabrics are assembled by adhesion or needling. The garment may have an interior wadding and/or an outer reflective surface.
