PURPOSE:To facilitate the cutting of a buried pipe and to promote the replace ment by non-cutting by inserting a supporting material advancably and retreatably into a buried pipe and by providing a cutting device rotatably, vertically movably and advancingly and retreatingly thereon. CONSTITUTION:The supporting material 1 in tubular shape is extended in the optional length with its addition inside a buried pipe X. A work pipe 22 is provided advancingly and retreatingly on the base 20 at the tip of the supporting material 1 and a cutting torch 23 is fitted via L shaped fitting 24 to the tip as well. And the torch 23 is provided advancingly, retreatingly, rotatably and vertically movably by motors 211, 221 241. In this composition the supporting material 1 is extended in the prescribed length and the cutting is performed by performing the alignment of the torch 23 by utilizing the TV camera of a remote control device 3. The cutting of the buried pipe x is therefore facilitat ed and the replacement work of non-cutting can be promoted.
