PURPOSE:To effect the ventilation of a normal amount when a room temperature is proper or it rains and permit the ventilation of a much amount when the room temperature is high by a method wherein two sets of split bodies, obtained by splitting a roof ventilator, are provided on movable roofs and are constituted so that the two sets of the split bodies become an integral unit when the movable roofs are closed. CONSTITUTION:A roof ventilator 12 is continuous along the uppermost line 3 of a roof 2 and is divided into two sets of split bodies 12A, 12B along the longitudinal center line thereof. The split bodies 12A, 12B are integral under the closed condition of movable roofs 5A, 5B. A clearance at the upper end of these movable roofs 5A, 5B is the lower ventilating opening of the roof ventilator 12. When a room temperature is proper or it rains, the movable roofs 5A, 5B are moved upwardly to make a closed condition. Ventilation is effected by the roof ventilator 12 which is integrated. When the room temperature is high, the movable roofs 5A, 5B are moved downwardly and the inside of a room is opened to atmosphere through a wide area whereby the ventilation of a much amount can be effected in a short period of time.
