PURPOSE:To make it possible to preserve a recorded information for long period and to use the titled medium repeatedly erasing the recorded information, by incorporating a reversible photochromic type spiropyrane compd. having a long chain alkyl group and a high polymer substance having a covalent bond contg. a fluorine atom to a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer contains the reversible photochromic type spiropyrane compd. having the long chain alkyl group, and the high polymer substance having the covalent bond contg. the fluorine atom. The complete example of the reversible photochromic type spiropyrane having the long chain alkyl group is a compd. shown by formula (I) wherein (n) is an integer of 4<=(n)<=18, X is carboxyl group, Y is hydrogen atom or nitro group; when X is nitro group, Y is nitro group. |
