PURPOSE:Air-blowing nozzles are opened on both sides of the outer periphery of a rotary nozzle and air interceptors are set both above and beneath the outer periphery in a specific state to increase the air flow from the nozzle over the original speed whereby pitch fibers of good quality are obtained. CONSTITUTION:In the centrifugal spinning unit having a rotary spinning nozzle 1 in which the direction of the rotary shaft is vertical, while the fiber-jetting direction is horizontal, air-blowing nozzles or slits, 2, 3 are set both above and beneath the outer periphery of the rotary spinning nozzle 1 and air-flow interceptors 4, 5 are set both above and beneath the outer periphery so that the distance between the interceptors becomes narrow as they depart from the periphery.
