The invention relates to an improvement to mechanisms for overturning "like a page of a book". A carriage 1 makes it possible to remove and respectively rapidly to engage the mould 2 in slide arms 3 of the overturning machine, thus creating two zones. A protected zone S where the overturning machine operates and a work zone A where operations are carried out either by the worker or by robots which operate directly when coming into contact with the top of the mould. The invention eliminates the risks of accidents as a result of the worker coming into contact with the overturning machine, and allows the various technical phases of the filling operation to be carried out by automated devices. <IMAGE>
