Novel battery comprises a sealed container, a large number of positive and negative plates, material as an electrolyteabsorption- maintenance separator(closely contacted with each other, separates a 2-plates) and sulfuric acid electrolyte. Positive plates comprise a self-supported grid contg. about below 38% of Sb and pasted active material on grid. Negative plates consist of no Sb-lead alloy grid and pasted active material. Plates and separator are material porous enough for contg. of electrolyte to supply battery capacities at least 25Ah. Positive grids are lead alloy contg. 0.5-2.5% of Sb and 0.5-2.5 % of Cd. |
