PURPOSE:To improve erase precision by shifting successively the light emission timing of the first and second light emitting diodes, which constitute an erasing array, in synchronizing with the rotative speed of a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The second light emitting diodes 152b are arranged at a half pitch of the first light emitting diodes to arrange the first and second light emitting diodes 152a and 152b zigzag. The light emission timing of the first and second light emitting diodes 152a and 152b is controlled in synchronizing with the rotative speed of a photosensitive drum 10. Thus, the light emission position is not deviated between the first and second light emitting diodes 152a and 152b on the surface of the photosensitive drum 10 and a designated erase range is erased surely. |
