<p>Apparatus for supporting a container (2), for the purposes of the emptying thereof, comprises a cradle (1) which is resiliently loaded by spring means (23; 29) and effectively pivotally mounted for pivotal movement about a pivot axis lying outside of the volume of the container so that as the amount of liquid in the container is reduced, the inclination of the container to the horizontal is automatically increased. In the embodiment of Figs. 5, 6 (not shown), the cradle is pivotally mounted at one end to allow it to move to an upright position for attachment of the container thereto. <IMAGE></p> |
