A clutch cover arrangement has a clutch cover in the form of a housing, a pressure plate, a diaphragm spring which urges the pressure plate in a direction for the achievement of an engaged condition, a resilient band which urges the pressure plate counter to the force of the diaphragm spring in a direction for the achievement of a disengaged condition, a first bolt for the purpose of fastening the band to the pressure plate, and a second bolt, which is fastened to the clutch cover and passes with a clearance through a hole formed in the pressure plate, and a limiting device which limits the travel of the pressure plate relative to the clutch cover in the direction of the engaged condition. As a result, the clutch cover arrangement does not give rise to any exceptional stress concentrations at the hole for the penetration of the second bolt formed in the clutch cover.
