PURPOSE:To properly convey a body to be scanned by arranging two sets of rollers, which hold the body to be scanned such as an accumulative luminescent sheet and convey it in terms of subscan, so that they are separated by a shorter distance than the length of the body to be scanned in the conveyance distance and rotating them synchronizingly. CONSTITUTION:An interval between two pairs 26 and 28 of rollers comprising a sheet subscan conveyance mechanism 24 is selected shorter than the length of the accumulative luminescent sheet A in the conveyance direction, and two pairs 26 and 28 of rollers are synchronizingly rotated. As a result, the accumulative luminescent sheet A is held by the 1st pair 26 of rollers so as to displace in the direction of an arrow B. Then its end side is held by the 1st pair 26 of rollers, and the tip side of the sheet is faced with the 2nd pair 28 of rollers while the sheet is extracted, whereby the sheet can be smoothly conveyed from the 1st pair of roller to the 2nd pair 28 of rollers. |
