PURPOSE:To improve the vibration resistance of the equipment and to simplify it by providing a set of slidable prisms and by turning a condensing lens and prisms around the center axis of a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A set of similar shaped prisms 12, 13 are provided in place of a mirror optical system. The prism angle is decided from the refractive index, etc. of the prisms 12, 13 so that a laser beam 11 becomes not coaxial from the center axis C by the prescribed distance by its passing through the 1st prism 12 and second prism 13. In this case, the eccentric quantity of the laser beam 11 is adjusted by making the prism 13 slidable to the prism 12. The welding is then performed by turning a condensing lens 14 and prisms 12, 13 integrally centering around the beam center axis. Due to a complicated mirror system being not used the adjustment is made easy and the vibration resistance is elevated as well. Moreover, the whole equipment can be simplified. |
