<p>PURPOSE:To convey a sheet member precisely and smoothly to suitably carry out the reading of a radiation ray image and the recording of a visual image, by previously separating a pair of rollers from each other by a predetermined space to provide a clearance. CONSTITUTION:An accumulative phosphor sheet A is at first clamped between a pair of first rollers 26 so that it is displaced in the direction D, and thereafter, the leading end of the sheet A reaches a pair of second rollers 28. At this time, a predetermined gap H1 is defined between rollers 34, 36 so that the sheet A may easily enter into between the rollers 34, 36. Further, since width of the gap H1 is slightly smaller than the thickness H of the sheet A, the roller 36 is displaced in the direction C overcoming the resilient forces of compression springs 68a, 68b when the sheet A enters into. Further, this roller presses the upper surface of the sheet A due to the resilient force thereof, and therefore, clamps the sheet A together with the roller 34 which is engaged with a motor 40, so that the sheet A is conveyed.</p> |
