PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having superior color reproducibility and sensitivity and developing high density color by forming a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a specified pyrazoloazole type coupler on a support. CONSTITUTION:A silver halide emulsion layer contg. a pyrazoloazole type coupler represented by formula I is formed on a support. In the formula, R1 is H or a substituent, X is H or a group eliminable by a coupling reaction with the oxidized product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and each of Za, Zb and Zc is methine, substituted methine, =N- or -NH-. The coupler represented by the formula I is preferably used by 5X10<-2>-5X10<-1>mol per 1mol silver halide in the silver halide emulsion layer. |
