<p>PURPOSE:To increase the filter capacity, prevent blocking of space and totally eliminate lots of time and labor required for cleaning by laminating two filter mediums, accomodating the same in a casing and carrying out purification in which aerobic microbes are utilized. CONSTITUTION:The water of a pond is charged from the collecting pipe with the suction pipe into the flow passage 9 of the first filter medium 6 at the lower end, and in the first filter medium 6, most of the pond water is taken back to the pond through the flow passage 9, rough spaces and the collecting pipe 4, while the oxygen contained in the pond water is supplied through the small spaces to the adjacent second filter medium 7. In the second filter medium 7, oxygen is supplied from the second filter medium 6 to breed adequately aerobic microbes which eatch, decompose the organic matters. The organic matters caught by the aerobic microbes are decomposed throughout the whole area of filter medium 5 having a zigzag passage 9.</p> |
