The shell of the boat according to the invention is provided with a flat curved section (25). This is obtained by the fact that two ellipses (1, 2), which lie in two mutually perpendicular planes and have a joint semi-axis, are opened out into a single plane. If this curved section (25) is placed around the pair of ellipses (1, 2) which produce it, this provides the shell of a submarine. By making a flat longitudinal cut in the plane for example of the ellipse (12) or a plane lying parallel to it, one obtains the shell of a boat travelling on the surface of the water. The control and stabilizing organs such as rudder, keel and center-board are produced in the same manner, and also have a flat curved section. Here the medial semi-axis of a very extended ellipse (21) at the same time forms the minor semi-axis of a second ellipse (22). |
