PURPOSE:To improve sealing performance by bonding firmly without gaps and integrally a soft bonding plate having a high heat resistance on both sides of a substrate of stainless steel. CONSTITUTION:Bonding plates 14's made of copper or aluminum are press- attached on both sides of a substrate 13 of stainless steel. Around the area corresponding to the area to be sealed is provided a convex bead part 15. The substrate 13 and the bonding plate 14, after being plastic-formed, undergo heat treatment for tempering. With this process, work hardening of the copper and aluminum is relieved and a uniform, soft surface condition of the bonding plates is obtained when the manufacturing is finished. |
