The invention provides a laminated insulating glass unit with glass panes, held at a distance from one another, and gas-filled pane interspaces which are in connection with a pressure-compensation device, the laminated insulating glass unit and the pressure-compensation device being configured as a complete and inseparable structural part. In this arrangement, the structural part is essentially designed as a hollow-profile frame in which both the pressure-compensation device and the laminated insulating glass unit are integrated, the laminated insulating glass unit being at least partially enclosed by the hollow-profile frame. The pressure-compensation device provided may be configured differently, for example as an elastically deformable bag which is arranged within the hollow-profile frame and is in connection with the pane interspaces. The pressure-compensation device may also be designed as a hollow casing with diaphragm wall. Furthermore, it may be designed according to the principle of the "communicating tubes", or also as a pumping device operated by means of an electric motor.
