In the case of an electrical plug connection, consisting of a plurality of plugs (2) which are connected by cable (1) to measurement electrodes which can be placed on a human body, and which plugs (2) each consist of a plug housing (3) with a plug pin (4) and of a plug holder (8) which is connected to an evaluation unit for the signals supplied by the measurement electrodes, and which have retaining openings (9) for the plug housings (3) and contact arrangements (11), which are arranged in the retaining openings (9), for the plug pins (4), the risk of an accidental electrical connection between the plug pin (4) and a heavy-current power source is avoided in that the plug housings (3) completely enclose the respective plug pin (4) at a distance at the sides, so that the plug pins (4) do not project out of the plug housing (3), and in that the contact arrangements (11) of the plug holder (8) project into the intermediate space (interspace) (5) between the plug pin (4) and the plug housing (3) of the plug (2) which is pushed into the plug holder (8). <IMAGE>
