PURPOSE:To turn an engine accessories room to a non-dangerous area against explosion by installing bulkheads in a package of a fuel-gas combustion gas turbine to divide the package into an engine accessories room and the other compartments and by providing each ompartment with an independent ventilating means. CONSTITUTION:Bulkheads 12-14 are installed in a gas turbine package to divide it into an engine accessories room 1 accommodating engine accessories, a turbine room 3 accommodating a turbine main body, and a gas compartment 5 accommodating fuel gas devices. Each divided compartment is connected to a ventilation duct 19 and is provided independently with a regular ventilation fan 15 and an emergency fan 16. The pressure in the engine accessories room 1 is set higher than that in the gas compartment 5, so that fuel gas leaked from a gas control valve 7 is discharged into the atmosphere as indicated by arrow- mark GV in the illustration, without entering the engine accessories room 1. |
