摘要 PURPOSE:To interpolate rapidly and highly accurately image fogging and unequal interval image distortion due to a photographing system by forming the titled system by interpolation factor calculating processing for simultaneously correcting aperture characteristics and unequal interval image distortion and interpolation processing for executing optimum interpolation on the basis of an unequal interval generating area and an unequal interval value. CONSTITUTION:An equal interval interpolation function 2, an unequal interval interpolation function 3 ignoring the aperture characteristics and an aperture characteristics compensating interpolation function 4 are used to find out an unequal interval interpolation function 5 considering the aperture characteristics by an interpolation function calculating processing 1. Equal interval interpolation 180 is applied to sections 1, 3 and unequal interval interpolation 190 is applied to a section 2. Shape distortion to be generated on an uncorrected image 6 is previously calculated by a shape distortion calculating processing 13 on the basis of satellite system parameters (e.g. orbit and posture data) and stored in a shape distortion value information file 12. The picture element intensity on a correct position is found out by interpolating the uncorrected image 6 by interpolation processing 9 on the basis of the shape distortion value to obtain a corrected image 11.
