PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance and to obtain the satisfactory touch with a magnetic tape without damaging the magnetic characteristic of the core by making a magnetic core into a multi-layer construction of two layers or above with a metallic soft magnetic film and a metallic film. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic core half bodies 4a and 4b are composed of the sandwiching construction to sandwich the magnetic core between a pair of non-magnetic substrates 1a and 1b respectively, and the half bodies 4a and 4b are joined through a gap spacer 5. At the half body 4b, a window hole 7 for the winding is formed, and through the window hole 7, a coil 10 is wound for the prescribed turn. The magnetic core is composed of the multi-layer construction where at least two layers or above of a Co-Nb-Zr amorphous metal soft magnetic film 2 and a metallic film 3 such as Zr are laminated. |
