PRODUCTION OF FLAT STEEL WITH DEEP GROOVE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain a flat steel with deep grooves having good dimensional accuracy and having no defects in the groove parts by using closed caliber rolls in at least a grooving pass in multi-pass rolling and executing rolling by a tandem system in the plural grooving passes. CONSTITUTION:The plural closed caliber rolls are used in the grooving pass in the multi-pass rolling stage in the stage of hot rolling the flat steel with deep grooves. The closed caliber rolls are so constituted as to execute rolling by the tandem system. The flat bar with deep grooves having the good dimensional accuracy and having no defects such as flaws is thus produced.
