The invention relates to an automatic device for hydromassages for use in shower cabins or the like, which can generate especially efficient massaging jets because the nozzles that spray the water on to the body part to be massaged are capable of oscillating at an adjustable, very high frequency while the speed of the upward movement of the nozzles can also be adjusted. According to the invention, the device comprises the following combination: a slide which is vertically movable along guides on a support frame, means for driving the slide with vertically changing movements, adjustable limit switches to limit the movement of the slide, nozzles that are arranged approximately horizontally on the slide for the massaging jets which are supplied by pump means via flexible pipes, and a container for storing the working liquid and for removing the working liquid via the pump means. <IMAGE>
