PURPOSE:To reduce the mounting interval of risers for a commutator by displacing the center of the riser having a large thickness in a lateral direction toward one of the longitudinal directions of an armature coil. CONSTITUTION:A riser for a commutator is composed of both slender ends 8 in the longitudinal directiin of an armature coil, a central portion 9 having the same sectional area as the both ends 8 and formed so that the thickness of the plate is double of the thicknesses of the both ends 8 and one longitudinal end has the same plane as the longitudinal end of the both ends 8, and a coupler for coupling them. Since the central portion 9 is displaced so that the longitudinal one end of the armature coil forms in the same plane as the end faces of the both ends 8, the central parts 9, 9' do not oppose to each other when adjacent risers 7' are mounted oppositely. |
