An arrangement for mounting parts which are closed in the form of an annulus, especially a fan cover (10), on the housing (2) of an electric motor (1), which parts are pushed in the axial direction onto a plurality of small mounting blocks (11) which project radially from the motor housing (2) and on whose side opposite the pushing-on direction (12) there is integrally formed in each case at least one tab (13) which exceeds the internal diameter of the part (fan cover 10) which is to be mounted, is intended to be improved to the effect that the self-tapping screws which were normal in previous mountings are omitted. For this purpose, the small mounting blocks (11) which project radially from the motor housing (2) carry limbs (14) which are directed transversely with respect to the motor axis and, after a rotational movement of the annular part (fan cover 10), which is pushed onto the small mounting blocks (11), clamping tongues (15) which are located on the inside of said part engage behind said limbs (14). At the same time, protrusions (17) which are fitted at a distance adjacent to the clamping tongues (15) and face the motor housing (2) latch directly behind the small mounting blocks (11) or into axial grooves in the small mounting blocks (11). <IMAGE>
