PURPOSE:To obtain high resolution and high S/N ratio in both a luminance signal and a chrominance signal by making a repeating unit of all sixteen picture elements consisting of two rows of horizontal picture elements and eight lines of vertical picture elements, arranging the odd number-the horizontal sequence of picture elements same as that of just before even one, and arraying the 1st and 5th horizontal picture elements by alternating respective two color filters in the horizontal direction so that reversed phase relation is formed each other. The 3rd and 7th rows are arranged in same manner. CONSTITUTION:As to the chrominance signal, the sum signal of R and B and the difference signal of R and B are alternated in each 1H in an odd field, and R and B are alternated as it is every 1H in an even field. When the sum and difference are found between (S1-S2)0H and (S2-S1)1H only in the odd field side and then respective values are multiplied by 1/2, signals having the same timing and size as the that of the even field are obtained. Although a luminance signal Y in NTSC method is Y=0.30R+0.59G+0.11B, the relation of R:G:B=1:1:1/3 is formed in the spectroscopic characteristics of normal elements and color filters. Consequently, R+2G+b=K(0.30R+0.60G+0.10B) is formed and the luminance signal coincides with an almost regular luminance signal. |
