The subject of the present invention is a device for firearm shooting practice. The device is particularly noteworthy in that it comprises a vertical flexible wheel 4 mounted in rotation above a launch ramp 3 onto which the targets 10 are brought vertically one by one. Upstream of the wheel are mounted two retaining elements 32 and 34 which lock the targets in the ramp 3. The purpose of these controlled-action retaining elements is, on the one hand, to retain the targets on the ramp 3 upstream of the wheel 4 and, on the other hand, to push the targets one by one towards the wheel 4. The wheel 4 grabs the targets one by one and launches them at ground level, giving them a rapid rotational movement about their axis. The device according to the invention is principally intended for a target launcher of the "rabbit" type. <IMAGE>
